Animal Obsession
Laura Mott to James: "So can you tell me some nocturnal animals? Do you know what nocturnal means?"
James' surprised response: "Of course I know what that means...but first do you want me to tell you about some diurnal animals?"
Lesson to be learned: Never underestimate the intelligence of an animal obsessed 5 year old.
An account of the adventures of the wild creatures of the Ross household. Namely: James (Daddy), Becky (Mommy), James III (10), Teagan (9), John Ireson (6), and Jair (1). We've learned through fifteen years of marriage and four kids that life can be much like a safari: a wild and fun encounter with many beasts along the way! So tread carefully as you read- 'cause it's a jungle in here!

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blog.
So I have decided that I need to spend even more time in front of the computer on a daily basis...and that it is imperative that I create a family blog! Who's with me?!!
Really though, I have just guilted myself into doing something that will preserve some memories, at the very least, for posterity. I don't journal, scrapbook, or have anything recording those cherished moments or thoughts that I always say I should write down. I do have a photo album for each of the kids for their first year of life and various other photo albums, labelled and sorted from many years past. This blogging business, for now, is my new venture on trying to become more responsible with my family affairs. I have spoken...errr..written that is. Sorry...I haven't got the blogging lingo down yet...I'll get there:)
